I was trying to sum up my London experience/memories is one word or a short phrase. I came up with: BRICKS
Yup. There are a gazillion bricks in London (ok, I’m sure there are more than a gazillion…). There are brick buildings, brick roads, brick decoration, brick paths, bricks, bricks and more bricks. If I were looking for a career in London – I’d learn to do brick and mortar repair.
As an example, I walked about one-half of a block around our apartment. Here are just some of the bricks I found – all in walls. I am not including decorative or paths or roads… just walls:
